    I haven't eaten watermelon in uncountable years due to the heartburn it causes me. But, when I did eat it, I salted it.

    Must be a southern thang.... I salt all mellons.. Water mellon has started to give me itchy throat but i can't stop eating it when in season.

    I can't imagine salting a watermellon or cantaloupe. Then again I rarely use salt at all on anything.

    Mellon are about the only thing I salt.... oh.. Edamame too.

    Don't use salt there's so much salt and everything you already eat there's no need to do it

    Thats Sodium.. Research Sea Salt.... I never use table salt...

    Yes and no depending on how it tastes. So not every time or much is needed if the melon's ripe,

    Don't salt almost anything.. corn.. nope.. French Fries.. nope.. but i will salt sour Pineapple, makes it sweet, go figure.. salr Pineapple once every five years..
