    Text Message

    I received an unsolicited text message addressed to someone else today. The message asked if I was voting for Biden or Trump. Just for fun I replied that I was voting for Kanye. The sender replied that Kanye would not be on the Texas ballot. I responded by saying that I would write in Kanye.

    The sender replied that he/she was supporting Biden.

    I replied with this:

    You support Biden knowing that he is in the early stages of Alzheimer's or dementia and will not last his first term making Harris president with her socialist agenda? Why not just vote the socialist ticket and save time?

    So far, no response.

    I've been getting those same text messages with the exact same question...I'm tempted to just text back the word, "NO," but instead I add the number to my blocked list and delete the message......Ben

    In the past few years I voted in both Republican and Democratic primaries.. you would not believe the mail, calls (voice mail) and texts that I receive

    I live “above the blue line”.. GOP doesn’t field candidates in my house district.. but.. we had an extremely left , extremely motivated primary challenger against our old school left incumbent.. the radical left was mobilized and had to be stopped. Hence both primaries..

    And we are not the crazy blue district.. that’s the one next door to us..

    I sometimes pick up knowing it’s a crap call just to f#@* with them, but have learned it merely begets more. Text & emails are deleted and blocked, if I can block them.

    There should be a law: all unsolicited electronic communications MUST contain an easily accessible & working unsubscribe option on pain of chief executive of sender being drug behind a truck for two miles.
