They have been exposed, but Philbo famously does not pay attention. You will be hearing replays, if you tune in.

For Dave, the family history of slave owning by Kammi’s family was made known by her own father who obviously has a very poor opinion of his own daughter to reveal that fact in the middle of her recent campaign. You look it up...I’m tired...and it will mean more to you that way. As for George Washington, he is white and we have been instructed that as such he was fundamentally tainted and evil as are all of the race, so it is expected, but Harris, being the double affirmative action appointee that she is (female plus identifying as black) has to confront the diametrically opposed differences of the U.S. black slave experience from her family’s one. She did not exactly “lift herself out of slavery” or even its effects. Her father is a Ph.D. and her mother is a highly connected Tamil ex-diplomat from India/Cylon. It is a reason she got very poor acceptance from the black population during her abject failure as a candidate. There are others... Can’t wait to hear from her campaign staff who dumped on her after she dumped them.

Harris is fore-square for reparations. We have to wonder if she includes herself in the payoff even with her history?

All this is vitally important as the V.P. pick for a leading candidacy with a sick and debilitating place-holder in the top spot.

I have no interest in this issue other than fairness and honesty. I am not a supporter or defender of Ms Harris.

That said---what her father said is in doubt regarding his lineage to Hamilton Brown, a slave owner in Jamaica. Hamilton Brown had moved to Jamaica from his native Ireland. Ms. Harris' father made this claim in a magazine article appearing in Jamaica in 2018. Hamilton Brown, the accused, lived from 1776-1843. Related or not, to tar Ms Harris as tainted by this possible connection is at best malicious.

A bit of reading of slave history and ownership will quickly reveal why the questions of lineage is at best difficult to answer.

Do we now purge ourselves of any connection to Thomas Jefferson because he carried on an affair for many years and fathered children with his sister-in-law, who was also an owned slave? Do their children now bear the "stain" of this "sin"?

If your answer is yes to that last question, how do you propose these unintentional sinners should cleanse their stained souls?

I don’t propose Harris “cleanse her soul;” I propose we cleanse her leftist visage from the body politic.

So---then I think we have an agreement. Arguing the aspects of her political position and history that bother you, is fair game. The stage is yours sir

Love the fact about parents should be brought up---NOT.

All raise your hand if you think someone(US) is going to repay anyone except for the Japanese of WW2 that were interred now or in the future, without paying all the Indians off first for stealing their land.

I believe that is what I said.... her skeletons have already been exposed... Making her a 'known' entity. No surprises.

Speaking of skeletons exposed, has anyone heard a word about what actually gutted her campaign and drove Harris to throw in the towel? Strange, that event has been given zero currency today. To recollect, recall that Harris was riding high in the debates last year after ripping Joe Biden on his past stance on bussing with his segregationist buddies in the Senate until Tulsi Gabbard reviewed Harris’ record as Attorney General in California. That record was so devastating to Democrats that her campaign and standing rapidly nosedived to the point she was one of the first out leaving 15 other D’rat contenders at the time.

No one will set parameters, allow or disallow what I choose to say about Biden or Harris. The NYT called her moderate yet she voted with Sanders 92 % of the time. She is a leftist joke and clearly not qualified to be the VP especially under these circumstance. She is a liar and a fraud. She screwed her way to the top. Her behavior and the lies she told at the Kavanaugh hearings was a disgrace.

I like it. Sit back, watch, enjoy.

Congratulations, Biden, you've won more then the election with this choice.

That remains to be seen But if you're happy on Election night I will know that everything I planned everything I work for will be fundamentally changed. I might have to move to Utah and stay high all the time

I get a kick out of Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana —

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) warned voters on Wednesday that Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who was selected this week to be presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate, is not the moderate that the media claims that she is.“Kamala is my colleague, so I want to congratulate her. I think she is very personable,” Kennedy said. “She’s very smart, she’s very aggressive, and she’s very liberal. I think of Kamala, I would describe her as Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez but smarter and without the bartending experience.
Kennedy always gives that homey touch and never fails to come up with his patented zinger, but his background belies his countrified appearance.

Prior to his election to the Senate, Kennedy was state treasurer of Louisiana for five terms. As treasurer, he oversaw the state’s multi-billion-dollar investment portfolios. He also oversaw local and state bond issues and returned millions of dollars in unclaimed property each year.

Sen. Kennedy served as secretary of the Department of Revenue, special counsel to Gov. Roemer and secretary of Gov. Roemer’s Cabinet. He was also an attorney and partner in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans law firm of Chaffe McCall.

Sen. Kennedy graduated magna cum laude in political science, philosophy and economics from Vanderbilt, was president of his senior class, and elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an executive editor of the “Virginia Law Review” and elected to the Order of the Coif. He earned a Bachelor of Civil Law degree with first class honours from Oxford University (Magdalen College) in England, where he studied under Sir Rupert Cross and Sir John H. C. Morris.

Sen. Kennedy has written and published the following books and articles: “Louisiana State Constitutional Law,” “The Dimension of Time in the Louisiana Products Liability Act,” “The Role of the Consumer Expectation Test Under Louisiana’s Products Liability Doctrine,” “A Primer on the Louisiana Products Liability Act,” “Assumption of the Risk, Comparative Fault and Strict Liability After Rozell” and “The Federal Power Commission, Job Bias and NAACP v. FPC.”

Sen. Kennedy served as an adjunct professor at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center from 2002 to 2016.
He arguably has the best academic credentials in the senate. He is without question the most entertaining.

Hit Harris dead on — AOC without the barmaid experience.

Not that I am a fan of AOC---but I have to give her credit---she was working and the nature of the job---as long as it is legal--is of less importance.

    And back to Ms Harris.

    From today's WSJ:

As Kamala Harris Joins Biden Ticket, Wall Street Sighs in Relief
The financial industry’s reception of Joe Biden’s running mate reflects the belief that the presumptive Democratic nominee has so far fended off his party’s more progressive wing that has called for tougher financial regulation.
I'll add my relief in that as well
