I looked online to see if anyone had sprouted the seeds to see what they are (though it's strongly NOT recommended) - found nada.

Invasive Species..
There is an issue west of DC near Winchester Virginia where a vine like Kudzu has been discovered. It is from China and spreads easily and is very poisonous, worse than poison ivy and Oak..
No obe knows how it ended up growing here..

The list is long---very long. Just a few in this category, the snake head fish, the Spotted Lantern Fly which we are infected with in this area and attacks a wide range of trees, the invasion of boas in the Everglades which are altering the ecology there---that should get you started.

I actually had a list I started months ago and it was long. I can't find the list and the only thing I remember that you don't have is the asian carp. The lion fish has turned into a major problem also, there are many imports that we've lived with for decades that we think are natural.
