Our home is a couple of miles outside the little town (3800 population) of Pennsburg. This area has been some what isolated from the covid-19---but not without drama and controversy. The mayor, who has very limited power tried to counteract the order of the governor and push through a council resolution to open up all business during the shut-down. That failed. The key word in that was the verb in the past tense--she was removed by a unanimous (less one) vote of the board. I should add that the mayor was also running for the Republican slot on the fall ballet for the local State Representative seat---she failed nicely.

Now our quiet little corner has erupted. The nursing home with 120 bed capacity has currently 34 residents and 13 employees confirmed with the covid-19 virus.

One might wonder how we have this thing defeated
