Something to watch: Tesla's Battery Day on September 15

At Tesla's Battery Day on September 15, Company Could Announce Battery Breakthrough:

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news...?ocid=msedgdhp

"Essentially, it will be a way to show those who have a large amount of cash wrapped up in Tesla that the company is putting that capital to good use. Tesla is likely to use the platform to show how its battery technology has evolved and where it stands tech-wise against its growing list of competitors in the EV space."

I am pleased to see this as I attended High School while living in Fremont California. I particularly liked the weather, which allowed me to ride my motorcycle all year long.

And, I think the advances in battery technology are a great advancement in power storage and usage.

Here’s hoping Musk’s company has put that enormous stock equity to its maximum use toward improving batteries with more electric charge density, faster charging, cheaper, cleaner, lighter and safer. Tall order, but who better to run down the solutions? A “million mile battery” would be terrific especially because the car’s electric motors should last that long easily, where the competing gasoline engines will not. The batteries have been the weak spot in EV’s from day one.

Tesla does not seem to have a happy workforce. That may have something to do with sloppy fit and finish.

"A component-level approach might be one way Tesla could improve its standings in the next IQS. Tesla did not meet J.D. Power's study criteria, so it wasn't technically ranked, but people had issues with their Tesla vehicles."

Tesla is struggling with finding techs still I guess? Your favorite mechanic cant fix them.

We have Teslas here, but I don't know of anywhere you could get your "check turbine light" turned off.
