That should not come as any surprise since it is mostly temporary layoffs returning to work. If you wish to assign credit, credit the state governors who reopened the states, sometimes against federal directives. Trump lacked the authority to close the states and he also lacked the authority to reopen the states. Very little of this good news is on his account.

Well if I'm reading the experts correctly it was actually a huge surprise they were predicting another loss of jobs in this report. Obviously I'm not naive enough to give President Trump complete credit for this just like I'm not going to give him the blame for everything else either.

Trump had a huge part in shutting down the economy and a huge part in urging governors to open back up. So take your pick where credit/blame lies in this black swan event.

The sudden rise could have a lot to do with the PPP kicking in requiring rehires, but I don’t know how they figure these statistics.
