Currently both the President and V P have aides/staffers who have been identified as being infected with the Corona Virus.
Let us assume that both of them are incapacitated and unable to perform their duties. Although not dead, does " Nancy "still become the de facto Temporary President assume the duties ?
Individual rights are protected only as long as they don't conflict with the desires of the state .

I don't think "temporary" enters the equation. She will be the president until the next duly elected president takes office next January.

Unless the President and VP dies, she has not a chance, and both of them dying is unlikely. She could be acting president in the event both Trump and Pence in writing informs the Congress they are unable to discharge their duties due to disability. Also unlikely. So I am going to sleep good and hopefully not have a Pelosi nightmare.

The real scary part is that if it remains a Democrat controlled House of Representatives, I have confidence based upon what I see from that chamber that her successor will be even more radically leftward inclined.
