DOJ moves to dismiss Flynn case

Finally the depth of corruption in Comey's FBI is coming to light. Read the motion to dismiss filed by the DOJ it is long but it is quite illuminating as to the corrupt ship Comey and his lackies were running.\

That's so sad as he was offered a important job at the White House. Now maybe give him back pay, what are the libs up to next?

As I recall, trump fired him for lying to the VP. Other than the obvious craziness in trump firing someone for doing what he does best---telling lies---it had nothing to do with any of the issues now being discussed.

Well there you go again. You said "was". I say "is" and it is not just the 7th floor. Power corrupts and they have been given far too much power.

If you have been paying attention here and elsewhere, the news of FBI/DOJ/Mueller malfeasance in the Gen. Flynn case is nothing new, nor are the “revelations” that none of the witnesses in the secret House hearings could lay a finger on Trump with any connections to Russia in the phony election theory despite the continual lies of Schiff to the contrary. Stay tuned, there are a lot more reveals to come on this pack of scum.

The significant impact of it all is that the D’rats and the swampies at their command knew from the getgo it was all crap but went ahead for years in order to hold the elected winner back. There should be serious prices to pay.

Flynn was first broken financially, then threatened with retaliation to be visited upon his son by all-powerful federal prosecutors after earlier being cleared by them only to have the investigation restarted after President Obama personally intervened. This is the definition of coercion by official oppression.

And no, Fred, the charge is not “lying,” the charge to which he was coerced into a plea was “materially misleading a federal official in an official investigation.” The DOJ concluded there was no reasons to suspect an underlying crime thus there were no grounds for an investigation, therefore he could not have materially mislead what was illegal fishing expedition ab initio. In short, it was trumped up BS. (pun intended)

Your champion, Congressman Nadler the Hutt (D-Twilight Zone), has promised a hearing on the subject. You might want to catch that as Atty. Gen. Barr smothers the fool once again with facts in his usual droll but instructive manner.

Very eloquent councilor----but misses one important point.

The "good" general was (according to his boss) terminated for lying to the VP---period

Hard to get past the irony in that one

You might want to consider that being fired and being convicted of a crime are two distinct things, and the crime charged had zip to do with communications with V.P. Pence. Btw, Pence says of that —

...Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday he is “inclined more than ever” to believe retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn did not intentionally mislead him about his conversations with a Russian envoy, which was a reason cited by President Trump for asking him to resign as national security adviser in early 2017...

The firing of Flynn took place at a time when Trump ostensibly had some modicum of respect and trust in his Justice Department, unjustified as it turned out to be.

I find it almost humorous that you would put such credence on anything said by either of trump's largest lap dogs

I find it less than humorous that you are trying to find excuses for a series of gross abuses of power by the FBI/DOJ even after the facts have been exposed in reams of documents and admitted by the organization merely because you do not like the victims.
