Lest suppose that biden has to drop out because of dementia and scandal. Could he give his delegates to whomever he wants to ? . Although as I understand it, delegates are under no obligation if the original candidate drops out.
But, could he indorse another , say clinton and give her his delegates even tho she is not a contender at this point ?.
Individual rights are protected only as long as they don't conflict with the desires of the state .

That scenario would be a Republican dream because any such machinations by Democrat power brokers leaving out Bernie would absolutely drive the Bernie Bros over the edge to form their own party or coalesce in the Green Party/Workers Party or whatever, it is my guess. They are already pretty squirrelly over their treatment by HerSelf and her tribe in 2016 and again this year so far. I think it’s a great idea for them to take their ball and go home.
