I guess you don't SEE the humor
You learn to draw a bow. I'm not a gym rat and I pull 70#. I sure feel it the first few days when I start shooting again. It is funny to watch a "big ol boy" who has never pulled a bow try it for the first time though.
With these new bows you don't need to draw a bunch, and the modern let-offs of 70% are a vast improvement over the stone age. I draw a heavy bow because I shoot a heavy arrow (300's) because an elk is a big critter.
I would love to shoot my bow right now, but it feels like Wyoming here. Brrr...
