Is Utah Keeping Drs From Prescribing Hydroxychloroquine?

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/202...ribution-drug/

I read another article that New York was proudly saying it was allowing the drug plus the antibiotic, azirhromycin, to be administered to 4000 of the most severely affected coronavirus patients. The article did not say the state was only allowing that small use, but everything I am reading indicates the drug is efficacious more for those less severely affected or even as a prophylactic before being infected. I will bet that every medical professional in New York and elsewhere that has access to the hydroxychloroquine is now taking it as a preventative. The extremely odd part is that virtually all the media is profoundly hoping that drug regime fails merely because their foil, the President, has voiced favor of it.

It has become so bizarre, that one Ohio Democrat lawmaker is threatening to file a complaint with the International Criminal Court at The Hague for “crimes against humanity” merely for expressing his favor for the drug!

“I can’t take it anymore,” Ms. Galonski, a Democrat, tweeted Sunday night after Mr. Trump’s coronavirus task force briefing.

“I’ve been to The Hague,” she continued. “I’m making a referral for crimes against humanity tomorrow. Today’s press conference was the last straw. I know the need for a prosecution referral when I see one.”

Nuts have been around for a long time, but a little snake oil will cure everything.

Ahhh… I think I see the reason why this is occurring reading the article. For, Dr. Bill writes about being liberal with the rules. He also claims the government is acting wrongly.

Now, my friends, most who have experienced life in Utah will tell you there's nothing liberal about it. And, those who complain about the system are either cast out or ostracized.

Am I defending the state? Nope - I personally think all options for treating the virus should be examined. But, I'm obviously not in charge here. Welcome to Utah.

The word in Texas is that any doctor of a mind to do so can prescribe hydroxychloroquine sulphate. I am going to test that and ask my pharmacy to see if they have the drug or can order it, and if anyone doing business there has done so...just out of curiosity.

I watched one Harvard Med doctor who assured the viewers that Hydroxychloroquine for an antiviral use is quackery and has no or little effect.

Make sure you read up on the side effects before taking the plunge. Vision loss is one of them if you get the dosage wrong

Read the possible side effects on any drug and you will wonder if you should take it and if your doctor has a clue.

From everything I've read the information involving this medication is all over the place some positive some inconclusive. I would think it would be appropriate to use the medication in a compassionate way if everything else has been done to reverse the effects of this virus. As far as running down to my Pharmacy and cramming them down my throat that's not going to happen.

Not enough test cases to "claim" it to be the cure. I think that's the flaw is saying it works for everyone. Same goes for other touts that this may work.

J&J is so sure that they may have a cure they are ramping up production atr the same time. A 1 Billion $ gamble while a trial phase is going on.
