    Starting to hit home....

The Covid crap is starting to have a major impact around mi casa. I was layed off in Sept and have been trying to kick start my career with a position that will allow my to retire when I planned but it's been tough. Today we had to make the hard decision to shut down Nurse Paula's salon for a while due to a large majority of her clients canceling appointments. We have been paying the bills on her income but that is changing. Thankfully we have plenty of liquid savings to draw on..She has also been suffering from a serious cold the last 4 days (stress induced I'm sure) so we have decided to self quarantine as well ( no fever or other covid symptoms so not a major concern).

On top of it all her little brother died in a UTV roll over accident last Thursday and we can not be with the family. We spent last Friday with the Nieces and would love to be there for them more but have made the tough decision to keep our distance. No services are planned until the undefined future...

Overall doing fine but it's a strange world we live in right now. I did 33 miles on the mountain bike today in a remote area to get my exercise and vitamin D fix away from anyone else.

Be safe and stay healthy all !!!

Good luck. Now is not a good time to be out and about and need of help.

My condolences to Paula and the family, Bo...My only routine is running my usual errands and walking my precious metals routes...I tend to stock up when I buy supplies so not much has changed for me...Social distancing is what I've been used to from women all my life so that didn't take much adjustment......Ben

I agree, I have adapted a very cautious approach to my riding lately. Two fold, no insurance and the last place I want to be right now is in a medical facility.

I am so sorry to hear about your family's loss and also about the effect of this terrible disease on your situation. It is clearly a pestilence of historic proportions. I wish you the best.

Amen to what the others have said. Tell Paula to get well and sorry to hear about her brother. Stay safe.

Been getting the dose of Vit D myself. Seems like the entire back yard decided to turn green and yellow flowers. Been going through with a weed eater for the last couple days. Few hours here and there. Think I'm on the home stretch now. Next will be the woody shrubs to be cut down. Glad I got some time off for this.
