I am glad they put this guy in jail. His bail was not nearly enough. Did it not occur to him that God wants them to exhibit faith by following what their government wants them to do? Kind of like the idiots that dont take drugs, because God will heal them. Maybe God gave them the drugs to be healed so they could learn something about themselves.

What some people are willing to believe never ceases to astound me, and what they buy on faith is even more astounding.

So, after coronavirus it will be ok for us to go back to protesting restrictions to our right to assemble?

    Too soon?

You guys don't understand---this was a necessary function---for without this assembly how was the reverend to get his weekly pay---people don't do well giving remotely

And as the guy stood before the Lord, he asked, "Why didn't you save me?"
Lord replied, "I tried three times".
First I sent a warning the river was rising.
Then I sent your neighbor to tell you to get out.
Lastly I sent a helicopter by your place when you were on the roof. But you waved that off.

FWIW----I'm going to mass now more than normal---and I haven't missed one drop into the plate!

How---the Bishop, who along with all priests, celebrates a daily mass (required). The Bishop of Allentown has opened his private chapel to video---so, at 8 AM Monday through Saturday I "join" the Bishop as he says Mass. It is about 30 minutes each day. I am already in the office (at home) and simply go to the web site at 8 AM, this morning my wife joined us On Sunday Mass is at 10 AM. It is still difficult for me to accept that we are unable to go to all the Easter services but this will have to suffice for now.

As for the collection---they still get mine, it is an automatic draw from my checking account. However, this is going to be a major financial hit for all churches----not to mention the membership.
