In the article below CNN shouts about President Trump ordering the sending of one plane load of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) medical supplies to China on February 7, while the Chinese were in the midst of the critical outbreak of the flu in their country. The flight sent 17.8 tons of our supplies at the time. CNN castigates the outrageous wasting of supplies we will need as even then several people in the U.S. were known to be positive and the president was not pulling his hair out, instead calming the country. He must have been crazy, right, or a China dupe?

Now, the game is being slowly revealed. Why did Trump send a plane load of supplies to the Chi-Com’s and later even speak nicely of Chairman Xi and with comity? We learn that today —

A commercial aircraft carrying 80 tons of gloves, masks, gowns and other medical supplies from Shanghai touched down in New York on Sunday, the first of 22 scheduled flights that White House officials say will funnel much-needed goods to the United States by early April as it battles the world’s largest coronavirus outbreak.

The plane delivered 130,000 N95 masks, 1.8 million face masks and gowns, 10 million gloves and thousands of thermometers for distribution to New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, said Lizzie Litzow, a spokeswoman for the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Ms. Litzow said that flights would be arriving in Chicago on Monday and in Ohio on Tuesday, and that supplies would be sent from there to other states using private-sector distribution networks...

Assuming that those 22 flights from China, which is the premier manufacturing country for medical supplies at this time, will contain approximately the 80 tons of PPE also, the exchange we are seeing playing out will be 17.8 tons for ~1760 tons or 98.9 times as much. With some training, I imagine even CNN and its cadre of TDS readers could be brought to understand that is a good deal for us.

Good for China, and any in the administration who are working to get this done. I'm sure even China can see it needs the American consumer to get back to Walmart. It's nice to see someone extend a hand while we are on our knees. But watch for the punch. I don't trust any of our enemies.

The only reason I can think of that someone hasn't already taken a swing at us is they are on their knees also.
