    Back in Business by Easter?

I can't believe Trump is proposing that we return mostly to normal by Easter. I think that would start a second round of infections.

I think this is the wrong message to be sending the people. It gives them false hope and it encourages those who would ignore the warnings by making it sound as if the virus really isn't that bad.

I hope Trump will listen to his doctors.

We aren't going to be back in business until the schools go back.

Who besides me thinks the feds (not the legislative-the Government health complex*) have done very little but pay lip service? Maybe I missed some details about 400 masks going here or there, but it almost looks like they are playing the role of war correspondent. I'm all about encouraging Americans to stop huddling in their homes, but The Donald isn't going to simply drop the flag to get things moving again. Your local school board has more power than him.

I'm fascinated watching this unfold. This has changed the course of America.

*I was looking at a Kaiser Health graphic showing counties with/without ICU beds. My neighboing county to the south shows none, but it is a fact that there are two brand new hospitals with ICU facilities costing the taxpayers over $50 million. They were built by the US PUBLIC Health Service. But you can't use them. Ponder that.

Anyone thinking we should drop the restrictions might want to spend a little time reading about the experience in doing just that in Hong Kong.

It was an aspirational desire not a deadline. Trump is ever the optimist with a sad vocabulary consisting mainly of superlatives expressing that inclination.

Wishing and reality aren't the same. Figure if any of the scenarios I've seen play out it could be a long 1-2 years before there's a "normal" again.

Trump is trying to middle the situation he's trying to work the market and also calm employers. I think what's going to happen is a layering where they will take certain industries where they can keep the people apart and try to get them back to work but as far as the American Workforce being back functional by Easter that's nothing more than a pipe dream

Here at home in SLC, things are quiet and moving slow. If we go out to drive around, it's more like Sunday has spread throughout the week.

But, in Las Vegas, where many of our friends live, things have just about come to a dead stop. There are eerie photos online of deserted places, like the famous Las Vegas welcome sign on the South Strip. We hope they come back strong.

Fun fact, many Casinos don't have locking doors. Or at least they didn't until now.

I've been watching their videos on Youtube, not much else to do. One a few days ago offered to rent for 50% off. So if you are looking for some fun.
