    Senator From Louisiana Gets It!

Senator John Kennedy from Louisiana said today, on the floor of the Senate, what Americans from all walks of life and political persuasion have been saying for years. His context may differ from yours, but it is true for all of us.

SEN. KENNEDY: Do you know what the American people are thinking right now? They're thinking that the brain is an amazing organ. It starts working in a mother's womb, and it doesn't stop working until you get elected to Congress. Do You know what the American people are thinking right now, Mr. President? They're thinking that this country was founded by geniuses but is being run by a bunch of idiots.

Do you know what the American people are thinking right now? They're thinking why do the members of the United States Senate continue to double down on stupid.
Watch the video for the rest of what he said.

I always enjoy hearing him talk, while I don't always agree with what he says, the "how" of what he says is missing in most of our congress critters. I never fail to understand exactly what he said---and meant

Is anyone else concerned that we may not have a quorum in the senate? What if we find our government paralized because it fell under the control of a handful of asymptomatic lunatics?

Their latest tantrum was over Rand Paul taking a test for the virus and before getting results mingled amongst fellow senators. A week later, when the results came back, he was found to be positive and only then went into seclusion. He says that he was not ever around any known source, and thought he was safe, but only took the test out of an abundance of precaution and because of his lofty position had access to one. Oh, maybe he didn’t say that exactly...but close enough. So, I guess the rule now is if you take a virus test you have to go into self-quarantine. Under the new rule, won’t every senator and hat girl Paul came close to or touched what he touched have to go home and sit it out? I doubt many came that close to a pariah like Rand Paul, but did they go to the restroom he used? Who will be left in the Senate?

I’m guessing that the entire wad of Congress-critter prima donna’s has had the tests no one else can get, yet they are still happily milling around with each other swapping legislation and promises. The nation would be better if the lot of them were put in quarantine for the duration of their terms.

I read a story of a New Jersey Doctor who tested positive.. the doctor had attended a conservative (high $$$) fund raiser in DC where he was able to meet and schmooze and “selfie” with the conservative “movers and shakers” from Congress.. this event may be where a lot of the exposures happened.. note: the event was before anyone knew of the current virus exposure issues..

If I run across the article again, I’ll link it.. think it may have been on the Newark Star-Ledger (NJ.com. .??) website
