Sorry Billy but there needs to be 60 votes for this thing to pass. 5 Republican Senators are gone for the next 14 days or so. So there has to be some give on both sides to accomplish anything.
Just to hand out money without any controls to big business isn't right.

You might want to go to one of your trusted sources on the left and read exactly what the Democrats are demanding to be in this bill and I will assure you you will find none of their demands that has anything to do with this current economic crisis and the virus. The D’rats are not even trying to hide their “never let a crisis go to waste” strategy on this power play.
House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) told colleagues late last week that the need for a massive stimulus bill to protect the economy and American families provided the Democrats a “tremendous opportunity” to “restructure” the bill to get them things that they want to advance their partisan agenda.
