OPINION....a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
Who?
I don't see a heck of a lot to praise. I am still on the fence. Around here local governments and NGO' s seem to be carrying most of the load.

Yes, TG, Dr. Fauci can be trusted - even as our President continues to lie about his failed role during this outbreak.
It took many deaths for Trump to stop called this national crisis a hoax.

He NEVER called the disease a hoax. He called Democrats’ and their functionaries’ attacks on his handling of the Chinese Coronavirus as their “new hoax” following the Russia Hoax and the Ukrainian Hoax. In fact he banned travel from the epicenter to our shores in record time long before any other leader did so to their misery. To the contrary and to show how accepting they are, Italy told their people to literally embrace a Chinese (videos on the web of Italians doing just that), many of whom came from Wuhan, and of whom they had a abundance because they were in the middle of China’s Silk Road project. Duh!

Yep, I think you're right on this one, Joe.
"Fact Check:
Politico appears to misconstrue the subject of the president’s statement, claiming that Trump “tried to cast the global outbreak of the coronavirus as a liberal conspiracy intended to undermine his first term.” But an examination of the video and transcript show Trump actually described Democratic complaints about his handling of the virus threat as “their new hoax.”"

I wonder if those calling for the president to put his thumb on industry and force compliance with government needs realize that what they are demanding is adoption of the Nazi economic model? The Nazi’s recognized that they were incapable and incompetent to run a business, but at the same time brutally employed force to direct industry and those who were capable running it to comply with state goals. Now, in a weird twist, those whom yesterday were accusing President Trump of being an aspiring fascist and dictator, are screaming bloody murder because of his refusal to act like one.
Yesterday, President Trump in one of his broadcast appearances and in response to mounting calls for him to use his invocation of the Defense Production Act to force private businesses to produce needed medical supplies, responded in the negative and said, "Call a person over in Venezuela. Ask them: how did nationalization of their businesses work out?"

There is plenty of things to criticize trump on regarding his handling---or lack of handling of this crisis---but I have better things to do.
I will point out, that I was amused, possibly in this same thread, by comments coming from someone who claims to be "a true conservative" suggesting the government should be doing more and taking more control of businesses---more than humorous it was sad.

Every one has an opinion, Dave. Though it is strange when they wonder over the line on issues since they don't realize it.
