I was thinking the same thing earlier. I hope he's okay.......
I better go check my campaign funds. He may have run off to Aruba.
Your campaign funds wouldn’t get the bozo to Huntsville.
He probably discovered a hitherto unknown and unplundered hobo camp and has been busy ever since.

The promised business report:
The precious metals business is indeed a lucrative one, although not necessarily for the collector at the street level...To recap I started this at the suggestion of my doctor who wanted me to exercise more to reduce my A1C level for my diabetes...Any exercise at all would qualify as "more" in my case, so I started walking beginning at about a 1/4 mile which winded me...I'm up to 3 - 5 miles a day now which, after 3 months, has gotten considerably easier...Seeing a number of aluminum beverage cans tossed out the window by uncaring motorists inspired me to start picking them up and taking them home...Varying my route found even more plus other discarded aluminum items, which I took home as well...
Doing so satisfies the capitalist urges in me, and I suppose the tree huggers will be happy that the highway garbage pile is being reduced somewhat...The scrap yard on the way home from my endocrinologist is a place I've visited in the past, so I made it a point to load up and drop it all off today after my appointment, thereby saving a little diesel fuel rather than making a return trip...Pictured below the mighty Dodge/Cummins shouldered the load with no effort, and delivered a total of 266 pounds to be converted into even more Bud Light cans...Included was 165 pounds of flattened cans, 27 of aluminum plate, 26 of forged aluminum and 48 of insulated aluminum wire...The Truckman bank account was enriched by $57.00 which averages out to about 21.4¢ per pound...Cans pay best, but everything else has its lowered value also...
I'm sure you titans of industry tip more than I made today when you have lunch, but those of us on the gun dealer's retirement program are grateful for what we can scrape up...
Pictured below an elderly, delirious tramp, obviously laughed out of some masquerade party, stopped and asked if I needed a security guard for the high value load I had...Naturally I declined the services of such an uncouth lout, and left after issuing a BOLO alert to the nursing home authorities......Ben

When I was a kid we use to collect cans and run them through the machines. We would fill them with a little sand before flattenig them to add to the weight. Anyone remember the can recycle machines?
