Amy Klobuchar Drops Out of Presidential Race and Plans to Endorse Biden

Ms. Klobuchar made her decision hours before Super Tuesday. She shocked the primary field with a third-place finish in New Hampshire, but ultimately could not compete with better-funded rivals.
I'm a bit surprised by her timing, her home state of MN is voting tomorrow.

This appears to me as more indication that the moderates do not want the loony tunes being in control at the convention.

As I stated before, I think Sen. Klobuchar was the Democrats’ best chance to beat Trump. Glad to see her gone.

I missed that comment but I agree with your sentiment as to her elect ability.

The Dems are out to screw Bernie again! That's what's up with all the dropping out we've been seeing.

I don't see it as anything but politics. If I were a Democrat, and interested in the long term viability of the party, I would not want Bernie, or any similar loony tune being in charge of the party.

Keep in mind that backing into that small segment who support Bernie's brand of demagoguery ultimately isolates the party and in a sense turns it into it's own little tea party---and clearly we know how that turned out.

My bigger concern now would not be the extremes---being Bernie and Warren----they can knock each other out and in fact I hope Warren stays in to bleed off more delegates from Bernie. The wild card to me at the moment is Bloomberg, if he does not get out after this Tuesday that will help Bernie.

The end of the story---I don't think Bernie is electable---but the anti-trump vote is huge. Bernie would be worse than trump.

I fully agree. That's why I want to see him win the nomination. If I thought one vote mattered, I'd switch sides in tomorrow's primary just to vote for Bernie. A vote for Bernie = a vote for Trump.

This is an extract from an article in the WSJ:

Days before ending her campaign, Ms. Klobuchar continued to voice concerns about the possibility that Mr. Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, might run away with the nomination. At a fundraiser in Raleigh, N.C., last week, Ms. Klobuchar said she had “trouble with a socialist leading the ticket.”

Im bummed. I picked her based on her logo you'll recall.
