How Much Money Do Bezos and Bloomberg Really Have? Can You Even Comprehend It?

It is truly mind-boggling for most of us.

While I have no concept of that level of wealth, learning to have one could be fun!

    I'm not greedy, I'd settle for Bernie's 2.5 million.

Hmmm... Boys, I don't think Bernie did that well. Personally, I think everyone should be a millionaire by the time they retire. Heck, if you're born middle class and healthy - why not? We all have the same investment opportunities.

Not to derail this from the orginal focus,
but I just read this piece about Bernie. I choose that source to annoy Joe

That said, it leaves me with more questions than answers. Bernie didn't hold a regular job, or enjoy dependable income until being elected Mayor of Burlington at age 40---and he stepped into the world of high finance with a salary of $32,800.

I am left with a lot of questions about how he has "acquired" $2.5 million in that period of time while never holding what I would consider a high paying position---not to mention his professed socialism.

    Don't forget, that's the admitted 2.5 mil that we're aware of......Ben

Reminds me of the old adage "It takes money to make money". At this point my 401k generally earns substantially more than my salary every year, this one will probably be an exception due to the virus. Those guys have so much money that their money makes so much without doing much with it.

Yep, money begets money, as our friend Honda illustrates.

In no effort to support Bernie---first, I am always skeptical of these kinds of un-audited reports. That said, his wife might well be a major part of that number---she did have a few real jobs.

However, this seems not to be a big winner:
From 2004 through 2011, Sanders was President of Burlington College, a small liberal arts college founded in 1972 for non-traditional students. It closed due to financial problems in 2016.

    "President of Burlington College..."

Hmmm... with the current "College Gate" scandal going down, it does make one wonder.

In reading more about her history, it seems she and Bernie are a good match---I'm not impressed

As for Burlington College---it seems no one was breaking down the doors to get in

I'd have made it if not for that 1999 divorce, lost everything and couldn't start again because every time I did she would take me to court for more money. I just as of last Friday have no more obligations as far as kids go so at the age of 66 I'm not going to make it. My biggest concern is finding a place to live right now, it feels like the coldest winter we've ever had down here of all times.
