I get the picture without having to go to one of the more biased right wing sources to buoy up the story. Wiki was only one source and the one I choose to offer up.

I had never noticed the “talk” feature on Wiki before you mentioned it. In the present case that feature mentions more about Antonio Gramsci, who was the prominent focus of Buttigieg’s father’s life resulting in a three volume hagiographic tome dedicated to this obscure Italian communist figure. Pete Buttigieg is said to have been a key editor along with his mother for his father’s claim to fame. Without getting too deep into Marxist dialectic, Gramsci was an early (1920-30’s) leader in “Critical Theory,” which advocated for advancing communist revolution by dominating culture and especially schools and education of youth. Prof. Joseph Buttigieg was ostensibly an English professor as he dealt his communist revolution right in line with critical theory at Notre Dame, where he was coddled by his like-minded superiors.

Yeah, but they gave John Brennan one also and an entre’ into the inner sanctum of the CIA even after telling them he had voted for the U.S. Communist Party candidate for president, plus that did not slow them down for ultimately putting him in charge of the joint. Our vetting process is suspect.

Not saying Mayor Pete is some kind of Manchurian Candidate, but his hidden agenda behind his glibness remains highly suspect to me. Like you, I doubt he can ever get ahead of African American historic repulsion of his sexuality.

Having lived with them in close quarters for about ten years you could never convince me that they had a repulsion of any kind to any kind of sex or sexuality.
