If you think trump is out of line now

....what do you think a second term will do to restrain his march to autocracy

    .....as the cultists cheer.

....and trump can build more cultists:

    From today's WSJ:
The former Democratic congressman and governor expressed his deep gratitude to the president and said, “If you’re asking me what my party affiliation is, I’m a Trump-ocrat.”
Ah yes---life is grand when you call all the shots

Can’t we all just get along..

I get hammered from both sides.. no one is neutral..

Don’t forget.. we (Virginia) had a big shake up in the 2019 election.. after the mass shooting in Virginia Beach and the refusal of the majority party (GOP) to address the issues (wouldn’t even pretend to study issues).. pendulum swung..

My prediction.. Nancy Pelosi will try and do something that will cause the president to have a knee jerk reaction and do or say “something “.. (and purple middle will swing away from him) just before the election

Just my opinion, I could be wrong..

I don't see it as a big deal - if he gets too far out of line the Democrats can always impeach him.

Oh! Wait! They already tried that didn't they.

Does that mean you are OK with the latest moves of pardons and his posture toward the Department of Justice?

I know you were not referring to me but I will add my two cents. This is all very simple. As long as the Dems can present nothing more than wacko's many of us will be forced to vote for Trump. It's just not that complicated.

I'm OK with very little of what he does. But until a better alternative is offered, I'll stick with the man we have now.

Yes. And I think our members here are almost always doing it. We disagree yet we still talk. I think our politicians could learn a few things here.

I'd like to think that our options are not that limited. At this point, he is running over the other two "co-equal" branches of government. There is no "co-equal" with trump.

Remember.. the Dem leadership was not serious about the impeachment.. (they were just “poking the bear”).. They were forced into it by the young ultra-progressive loud mouths.. if the impeachment would have been successful, the Dems would have Pence in the White House, they didn’t want Pence. Pence is an experienced politician and would have everyone loving his charming self, hard to beat a charmer in an election

Just my opinion, I could be wrong..

“If you think Trump is out of line now.” Isn’t that why we elected him? Most of us who voted for him detest “the line” the others were in and represent. That Trump continually gigs the hell out of “the line” is his most salient feature, and we Trump voters want him to double up on it.

Any bets on how long it will take trump to pardon his scum bag buddy after he is sentenced?
