I find that many of the albums and individual songs I moved into "My Music" are no longer available.
I lost a few of Eva Cassidy's albums and when I went to Amazon to see if I could reload them I find that they are now available to stream but not held in my library so access becomes more difficult.

I have a prime account, but I have my online library exclusively on iTunes. On that platform all music is purchased by downloading from iTunes with a paid fee or uploaded from a CD or other files I own. I would be really bent out of shape if Apple deleted any of those for which I paid. By contrast, isn’t Amazon Prime Music a “free” service of music as a benefit of Prime membership? The warning is well taken, but anything for which you do not directly pay is most likely not “owned” or protected.
Btw, I seem to recall a brouhaha a couple of years ago when Apple “rescinded” rights to movies - withdrew them from iTune’s “purchaser’s” library - and took the position that they were not purchased but only leased while Apple had rights to the films. I don’t recall seeing how that turned out.

I'm not claiming that anything illegal happened here. The "free" music for Prime users is just that, you can add it to your library at no cost. I have music there that I have bought and music that I have added from the "free" arena. I have no thought that any of my purchased music has gone missing.
I was simply commenting on bit of a surprise to find it missing.
