    Aw, man...I didn't want to hear that...He was always one of my favorite actors...The first one I remember him from was The Vikings with Ernest Borgnine and Tony Curtis (also both gone), and the great Frank Thring...RIP......Ben

    Too many outstanding rolls to list. He was so distinctive, he was a staple of the great impersonators. Frank Gorshin doing his bits of Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster — hilarious. Could not find one of those bits, but in looking for one I came across a Dean Martin roast of Douglas from 1973, 46 years ago, with many characters from that era...most gone now like Kirk.
