Cool!
I'll try to remember to get a pic or two of the steer about 3 lots away from my current house. I've watched him grow over a lot of years. I feel sorry for him because he is all alone. He needs a friend or two.

Now, as far as cows go, that's a darn good-looking one.

This thread is starting to give me the fever again
But---then I think about the damage they could do to my barn
Dairy bulls, in general, are the nastiest of all bulls. One of our Guernsey bulls used his horns on everything and anything. Three walls of his pen were poured concrete. He dug a hole in one wall that was probably 5" deep (in an 8" wall). His horns were worn down to about 10" stubs. On the door to the outside (top hinge swinging steel plate) there were chain links welded to the bottom to attach a rope to pull the door open---he battered them until he broke them off. The front wall was about 5' high, with a feed walk running along it. There were 2" pipe railings along the walk. Finally, we just gave up with that, we would put them up and he would knock them down.
I had both a tremendous dislike for that bull---and a tremendous respect at the same time. He had killed a man before we got him.
After a couple of years he became so nasty we could not even use him for breeding, simply because we could not handle him.
My father sold him to our neighbor who was a butcher. We shot him in the pen and drug him up on the truck with a tractor.

It is a Gaur. I suspect that picture was taken in India--or possibly some other Asian Hindu country.
