    Would they dare?

Now that is seems certain that the President is going to be acquitted I ask a serious and interesting question. In light of Bolton's new allegations and the way the Senate handled the impeachment trial does anyone think that the Dems would dare impeach him again before the election? I think it is a possibility, but probably not in their best interest. I figure they will just continue to bash him and claim rigged trial all the way to the election, but I have learned to expect anything.

In the past couple of days I read somewhere that Pelosi was threatening to do just that. I think it would be a grave mistake on her part.

They would dare. They have lost their minds.

If they do, they'll be sorry about the election results...Spending four years doing nothing but failed impeachment proceedings while still sucking on the taxpayers' tit will not sit well with many voters......Ben

If legislators do or if they don't, our citizens may still not vote for Trump. That's my hope - that Trump will lose the presidency.

And I sincerely hope he wins another four years. Only because of what the opposition has to offer. If they had anyone even slightly better than Trump I could live with it. I cannot live with a bunch of gun-grabbing socialists.

I respect that position, Mike. And, I appreciate that you have not unfriended me because of it. My time here is enjoyable.

Why would I unfriend you? We all have our political differences and that should not be the deciding factor in friendships. Somehow we all have to get past politics and work together for a better life for everyone. I refer you to the RGB thread I started.

I completely agree that politics should have nothing to do with our friendship. I suffered Banning from this site at the hands of certain moderators who are on a different political spectrum that I am I refused to back down so I got blocked. Those days are over The Forum is robust everybody gets to say what they want to say as long as it's not off the line and I think it's one of the greatest places on the web to express yourself even though it's a small neighborhood. Everybody likes you Hunter I don't think that you should worry about what you have stated.

Your heads would explode if you guys couldn't come on here and argue with each other. It has replaced the coffee shop. Just remember you are in public and behave accordingly. I find your arguments entertaining.

The way our members have behaved in this forum gives me high hopes for our future in the USA.

Indeed, you are an excellent bunch.
