    I found it!...

I found the Fort Knox of beer cans...While at Lowes today I decided to get my walk in while I was there...One of the first things I found was one of those squeeze-handle pick-up sticks that I had been meaning to buy anyway...Works like a champ and I don't have to beat the bushes with my walking stick anymore......

I walked all the store access roads, then up and down the street between Lowes and Walmart...I found a goodly amount of precious metal, then walking back to my truck something caught my eye in a wooded area near Sam's parking lot...I found a trail leading to it, and there I found the mother lode...Somebody has been partying there for a long time, and nothing but 24 ounce tallboys...I parked my truck closer, and went to work...

I eventually had 11 full bags, but I didn't have anything to tie the load to my flatbed...So it all went in the passenger side of the cab...Stale beer is not my favorite odor, but I got home OK, and I'll air it out tomorrow...I doubt if I walked more than 2 miles, but the energy I expended bending over picking up cans should be worth another 5 miles easy...There's plenty more left, so I'll go back again, and get the rest...And I'll take my bungee cord cargo net this time...

    A profitable day indeed......Ben

I guess the next thing will be to build / get a smelter so you can start making ingots from your finds...............

Ben you be careful back around in those bushes where those folks are hanging out and camping there's a lot of meth heads in those areas. We had a homicide in one of those kind of areas not too long ago.

I appreciate the advice, Tom...All my hours are daylight only, and I keep my cell phone and briar walking stick with me if needed...And if necessary there are other tools of the precious metals trade available......Ben

They might have done better to cash in those 50,000 cans and instead use the discarded bottles that nobody wants like the the Filipinos do...They let light in while maintaining privacy...I would love to see somebody find a way to use those bottles I have to step over and around to find a can......
