Ferrari has yet to announce pricing but don't expect anything less than around $230,000. The Portofino, pictured below, starts off at around $215,000 without any options.
A penny-pinching retired civil servant could probably shake enough change out of his piggy bank to finance it, but where might he find room to park it since he traded off his farm for space in one of those "tiny home" neighborhoods?......Ben

It would be a challenge----but I feel fairly sure that given a little time, I could squeeze things together in my barn enough to allow you to store it here

The same barn you just told Mike was filled up after 25 years?...Sounds like my library; I always seem to find room on the shelves for one more war history that I might get around to reading someday......Ben

From what I can see I like the front a lot. Not so sure about the back.

I can see some Jaguar and Porsche in the styling. Of course F would never admit that.

The new Ferrari Roma is the logical progeny of this, the 1961 Ferrari 250 SWB Berlinetta, long my favorite car of all time —

It sold new for an impossible $12,000 in 1961, when I first started drooling over its lines in Road & Track, but now can be had, if you can find a willing seller, around an impossible $10,000,000. Would have been a spiffy investment for my old age had my paper route paid a bit better than the $40/mn I pulled out of it.
