    A long time ago

My Explorer has a self parking feature that will park the car with little driver intervention. I have to confess to never having used it---but it is there. My wife's also has the feature.

While that might seem a little futuristic (as long as you don't drive a Tesla) it is not even close to being cutting edge

This option was available at least until the early 50's. It was not a Packard invention. It was invented and patented by Brooks Walker circa 1932.

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a parallel parking space...But if they come back in style, I wonder if I can get a Continental kit for my flatbed?......Ben

We have them on main street. It is a never ending chit show. Don't forget to fold the mirrors in. Don't ask me how i know.

Got 'em in downtown Houston. If you are lucky enough to find one, the homeless folk will wave you in and then demand money for their help you didn't ask for.

The number of diagonal parking spots in the east is about the same as hen's teeth
