The congregation most often somehow or the other pays for the clergy’s “personal experiences,” as the public does with pols’ corruption, and as we did to the tune of $1.2B in this instance.

So.. a person should call their employer if they have an issue with their personal car being repaired? The employer is the source of the money spent on personal business.

And not what he did... but how he did it..

Life is style points.. style points are awarded 24/7.. when one shuffles down the driveway for the newspaper/mail, a neighbor is critiquing your “fuzzy bunny slippers”.. while pumping gasoline at Costco, the next guy in line is commenting on your gas pumping style (or lack of) and it’s relationship to speediness ... and the most critical style points are awarded when we are alone, we can be our own harshest critic..

    Life is style points..

I can't divorce myself from "style"---"style" is what defines us and "us" in this case is our country. Currently that "style" is reprehensible. I do not want to be defined by a President who is a moral and ethical waste land, life is not a game without rules.

And this game is best man wins. Says a lot about us that Big Politics won't put up something better. I guess they are "living rules" the same way the constitution is a living document.

Well, when you modern day Diogenes shine your “lamp of truth” on your anointed candidate please let us know who wins your award so when can apply our test, but for me, I’ll settle for someone trying to stay out of my life as much as possible.

Back in the ancient daze I was young and very idealistic.. as I matured I became less trusting and more and more picked my candidates as the lesser of evils..

Years ago I did an analysis of candidates and realized, to paraphrase Jack Nicholson, I cant handle the truth..

My “lamp of truth” shone upon Ralph Nader.. yes, he was the most honest candidate in the race but he was also frequently compared to a $**t house rat.. my innocence was shattered

But since you requested assistance finding an honest man, I’ll pull the “lamp of truth” back out..

Alas “the child has grown, the dream is gone”.. again I can’t handle the truth.. the same old rat comparison resurfaces..

The honest candidate appears to be Bernie Sanders.. I’m sure he will stay out of your life, assuming that you will not partake in the free tuition program and Medicare precludes his healthcare choices..

Please keep us posted as you “Feel the Bern”.

In what way do you even begin to think that Bernie will stay out of anyones life ? His stated goal is " Democratic [ ha, ha ] Socialism which by it'''s very name says, WE the almighty Govt. are going to tax you til you squirm then wring more out of you because WE can spend your money better than you. If you play nice WE , the all knowing few , may allow you to keep just enough to survive on as long as you keep working so WE can take your money and give it to those more deserving than you who make it.

The only " honest " thing he has said it WE will raise taxes to pay for all the FREE stuff WE are going to give out.

    Oops.. my bad..
was intended to be a humorous reply to a humorous request for assistance..

Seriously though.. I don’t agree with Nader or Sanders but do believe them both to be honest, sometimes too honest.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong..

I completely agree with Sandman Bernie Sanders is clearly the most honest candidate that the Democrats have. I might not agree with him and I don't in fact but he is honest about what he believes and he does believe in it deeply. The rest of them are fraudulent clowns

That said I can't and will not vote for a pussy grabbing clown that currently occupies the White House. Need some kind of moral compass back in the place and for that matter in the House and Senate.
