New Propulsion System?

I don't know if there is any truth to this or not. What caught my interest is the Dr. behind it works out of the same practice as my ENT.

Those cool hovering vehicles you see in Star Wars might just become reality soon enough. The birth of personal air vehicles using propulsion technology seems far-fetched, but this idea is on its way to becoming the real deal right in The Woodlands.Dr. Jeff S. Chimenti is not only a doctor in The Woodlands, he’s also a science fiction novelist, movie writer, producer, co-founder and chief visionary officer of Aviator Cycles.
He founded Aviator Cycles with inventor Jesse A. Marcel in 2018 to establish their company.
Marcel is an engineering genius, Chimenti says.

I didn't see anything about how it works, either. All of the "concept" images appear to use fans for lift. Like you, I am more than skeptical. It has a distinct smell. Especially this:

After its release, it will replace jet engines and may eventually replace rocket engines but it’s more theoretical.
