My takeaways from the Horowitz report —

* the FISA searches of the Trump Campaign were sought & approved principally upon the auspices of the Dirty Dossier,

* the FBI told the court it “verified” the allegation of the dossier by speaking with Steele’s secret source and “found him believable,” but failed to tell the court that the source told them that the allegations were mere rumors heard in a bar over drinks the source had heard and he had no idea if they were true (P.180-),

* the CIA in July of 2016 informed the FBI in an email that Carter Page was an agency cooperating source and confirmed it once again in June 2017 at which time the investigating FBI attorney changed the confirming email to say that Page was not a CIA source,

* despite having an open pathway and unlimited resources for 1 year to prowl the inner workings of the Trump Campaign for any & everything confirming suspicions of collusion with Russians, they found zip, nada, nothing!

This kind of sorta split the baby report is just not what was needed. There is enough meat there that the pro-Trump crowd (like me) and the Trump haters can find enough to claim "victory". Don't think the next one down the pike is going to be that way. Hint, haters might want to postpone victory laps for the moment.
