The US military doesn't have a sterling record of success in Mexico...In 1914 an uncle and his nephew were each awarded Medals of Honor for their actions at Veracruz, but the operation is generally known as a failure...The nephew later made quite a name for himself in WWII's Battle of the Coral Sea...

A little later in the Mexican Revolution, the US Army's General John J. Pershing and a young lieutenant tried to chase down Pancho Villa south of the border, but couldn't catch him...With that record I recommend turning the job over to someone with a better record of success...Perhaps another band of volunteer Texas irregulars could be formed for the job...After all they had a degree of success last time......Ben

Obrador is facing growing criticism for his government’s "hugs, not bullets" policy of not using violence when fighting violent drug cartels.

Too many hugs is the problem, it's getting more and more obvious.
This is your mind on drugs!

The concept of evil and that some people are consumed by it is hard to swallow by very many do-gooders until it bites them. The concept must by getting through to AMLO by now unless he has been paid to ignore it in which case he would hardly be in the do-gooder category, would he?
