There is a long article in the WSJ this afternoon which details the bust of a world wide child pornography site.
Part of what makes this fascinating is that the lead agents who cracked this are IRS agents and it grew to include DHS as well as a number of international police partners.
It struck me as intriguing how these creeps covered their tracks---almost, and what the investigators found for clues. Part of the tail is the use of bitcoins--and the thought that was a secure method of payment.
Unfortunately the WSJ is closed to anyone without a subscription and I have not found a similar article to link too---however not all is lost, this story started to come out in Oct and so here is a link to the story as it existed at that time frame.
