    Making Sense In Arizona

Finally, someone tells it like it really is when transgender males are allowed to participate in girls sports!

I hope to see the same in Texas. Better yet, nationally.

Republicans in Arizona are pushing a bill that would ban transgender girls from competing on girls' school sports teams, a measure other states are also debating and which has drawn fierce opposition from LGBTQ advocates.

“Males should participate with males and compete against males and females should compete against females,” Arizona state Rep. Nancy Barto, a Republican, told Fox News. “There are only two sexes and no matter how many cross sex hormones you pump into somebody it does not level the playing field. So males are born males. You can’t change your DNA.”

I've never understood the desire by some to try to change their gender...They are who they were born as...Gender is permanent...Sexuality, however, is a choice...End of story......Ben

If the men that want to be girls were born girls I'll bet they would now want to be men. Hormones my ass they are pitiful little peons that blame everything and everyone for their problems all the way down to their sexuality. if I'd only been born a boy/girl everything would be grand, poor poor pitiful me. Say hello to a brave new world

I’ve met quite a few effeminate males in my day - even have a couple in my extended family - and I do not think they chose to be that way. I think that is just the way nature made them, and I try to wrap my mind around that fact. I have not been around very many masculine females, but I assume it goes both ways.

I can see a little twist in their makeup to push them over the edge to thinking they would be better completely the other physiological sex than they were made. I have to have compassion for anyone so bent that they deny their biology. The consequences on a personal level have to be horrific in the vast number of cases. We know that cohort suffers from a far greater percentage of suicide from the toll their predicament takes on their lives.

All that considered, there are valid reason why every previous society in human history has shunned and proscribed everything the LGBTQ+ subculture is trying to pawn off as acceptable and normal. Chief among them is an overriding societal necessity for procreation. Societies die without abundant birth rates. An example in our lifetime I can point to is the Shaker religious sect that was fairly numerous not too long ago. Their religious fervor put so many restrictions on sex that the sect died out because they had no children. It is true that LGBTQ+ can produce children, but only through abnormal circumstances. They cannot sustain a society’s necessities. Advocates for that lifestyle are pressing every day for traditionally normal people to accept the abnormal and deviant for what they are not. To accept male physicality competing directly with their female counterparts is ludicrously unfair merely to prove a point which itself is ludicrous — that one can change their sex because they want to.

I have no idea what the root cause that prompts someone to declare they are of a different gender. I really don't think I care. What I do care about is an equal playing field in sports. It is blatantly wrong to expect women to compete against men in sports. I have no problem with academic competitions, just physical competitions.
