Surprised I hadn't seen this here

It seems some drug jackals South of the Border took it upon themselves to ambitiously murder a number of Americans including women and children in Northern Mexico just south of Arizona. I'm traveling right now and don't have time to pop the link.

Yes a horrible story, for sure lets all be careful traveling in that country knowing so many do for vacation trips.

Based on what little I know about the massacre, I don't see how being careful could have helped this family. Better to stay away from that corrupt and lawless country.

We are living next to a narco-state and that manifestation of its evil dealing death and misery to us is but a tiny reminder of what we get coming across our border every day. Last year alone our country suffered 68,000 deaths from drug overdoses, most of which came from drugs dealt from over the Mexico border. The depths of the uncivilized monster we have created by harboring such a market here is hard to visualize and then comes this event to show us. There are people only too willing to do anything given the opportunity and this proves the point.

The last administration armed these people just to see what they would do with the weapons. This is what they are capable of doing. Wake up, people!

X% of those “leaving” are the ones the others are running from. When you open the borders, as we have effectively done, you get whatever comes, not just what you want. Discrimination is a good thing.

I'm a strong proponent of a robust border control and a strong immigration policy. I worked on the wall. I want America to stay the America people are dieing to get to.

I just like to remind myself from time to time what the wall must look like from the other side.

I was in Mazatlan a couple of years ago. I almost bought a "Relax, You're on the fun side of the wall" tee shirt.

On edit: sorry to hijack the tread. Carry on.

I haven't lost anything in Mexico, and have no intentions of visiting for any reason...As for their subjects who are seemingly trapped in a world they didn't make, if they are unwilling to make the sacrifice necessary to build a nation worth staying in, I don't need them in my country where the hard work was already done, and the blood spilled for them...Clean up your own mess first, and we'll talk about it......Ben

The LeBaron family has had a beef with the Cartels for years and has been poking the tiger. I'm afraid there is more to this than it appears. I doubt it was random violence but a message being sent to the FLDS community in Mexico.

If that is the case it makes it all the more alarming.

Looks like they got one of the jackals. Sorry to those of you who have a distaste for Fox News but they seem to be one of the few big outlets covering this.

Ya think.... The Cartels know only violence. Mexico would never allow it but we need to send in the Seal Teams.

As Joe stated above, this is a problem we have created. Only way to put the Cartels out of business is to stop using their products.

I wonder if it has ever been considered to allow production and distribution of Meth, Cocaine and Heroin domestically???
