Elizabeth Warren Proposes $20.5 Trillion Health Care Plan

Ms. Warren would impose huge tax increases on businesses and billionaires to pay for “Medicare for all,” but she said she would not raise taxes on the middle class.
Now if anyone thinks she can hang a tax increase on business to the magnitude she proposes and not hurt the middle class--- check out now---you are turning blue.

Just an after thought: When liberals decide to vilify segments of our economy (like business and the rich--whatever that might be today) it is no different than trump vilifying immigrants or any of the host of other targets.

    They all suck

I mostly agree with what you have said. The question is if the race is Warren vs. Trump who do you vote for. Writing in or not participating is not helpful. I vote Trump every time all the time will all his warts, attitude, tweets, whatever before I could vote for a candidate that will wreck the economics of the US quickly.

I'm so damn poor there is no tax for Pokahaunts, however my Squaw has a better retirement than me so we split the pocket book and she pays.

Too irrational to bother discussing, and government unified control & command of everyone’s health care is merely one of her plans to rule your life. I hope she is the D’rat nominee. We need to have a determinative election between capitalism and collectivism before the Left imports enough gimmees to overcome the producers.

Warren s too damned expensive for me to tolerate. But then, Trump has set new government deficit spending levels. Which do I support? Neither.

After we vote, I hope they leave us alone.

I, too, hope Warren is the nominee. She is so far out there I doubt most democrats will support her, not to say they will vote for Trump, but they won't vote for her, making Trump's re-election slightly easier. I hope.

Forgetting for the moment my vow that Liz’ Medicare-For-All plan is too ludicrous to discuss, here is a sober assessment of the math behind the lunacy. Of course, Sanders’ plan is even more economically unfeasible and irrational, although Crazy Bernie admits at the outset, unlike Lying Liz, he is coming for your income too, not just the rich’.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fun...possible-study

"There is not enough annual income available among higher earners to finance the full cost of 'Medicare-for-All,'" it says. "On a static basis, even increasing the top two income tax rates (applying to individuals making over $204,000 per year and couples making over $408,000 per year) to 100 percent would not raise $30 trillion over a decade."
Obviously, taking all the income from the most productive would collapse the economy in 6 months, not 10 years, but that is a measure of the lunacy and deception of the Marxists we are talking about here.

You don’t really think Trump set those levels, do you?
He certainly acquiesced without a fight. He is not a conservative. He is a populist.

By no means is he a conservative. If the Dems had worked with him rather plot his impeachment from day one we could have gotten some wonderful infrastructure bills passed and maybe even got some reasonable health care reform by modifying Ocare, keeping its working parts and fixing the broken, but the Dems chose another route and Trump equally dug in and the rest is history. Disfunction, hatred and dishonesty all served up to us the innocent victims by the DC swamp, every damn one of them.

This will be another election of voting against rather than for.

Excuse me, you seem to be forgetting that trump had a stacked deck the first two years so laying blame on the Democrats is foolish.

Back to the orginal subject, if that plan were ever implemented you will see the most robust example of trickle down economics ever

If that plan were adopted there would not be anyone left “trickling down” for long.

Damn it Dave I apologize I should have never said anything negative about the Dems....just me being foolish again. Maybe I will pull myself out of it one day.
