They have journalistic standards Joe. I figured you would know that.

Deep swamp creature, naturally. He was allegedly even there assigned by the NSC to be at the side of VP Joe Biden when he extorted Ukraine to pull the prosecutor of his son’s employer.
So Joe---back to the point of beginning of this thread---how is all that working out for you?

I hope old spit and sputter didn't hang you out to dry on this "scoop"

On a more serious note; you might find this of some interest.

To me---the absolute worst thing about this entire misadventure is the creepy political hangers on that play in this game---and we can start with old rudy

As for the identity of the whistle blower, I believe he or she has the right to remain anonymous but I can't imagine that will be allowed to be the case---and not in any "official" sense, but by the scum eaters that infect this pond.

In truth, I fear for his/her safety.

The Democrat theory presented is that if a corrupt politician announces for president, he/she is immune from investigation as long as his corruption takes place in a foreign venue. Good luck with that with the voters.

Please---provide a link---I seem not to find these tidbits that you bring out

But---back to the question---how is that break through working out for you and old rush?

Am I the only person who thinks that any person who releases information that leads to the attempted impeachment of a sitting President should, in public , show just cause why he/she feels that the President has committed crimes ?. Like him or not, there needs to be openness and public awareness of why such an action is warranted . NOT a secret trial at which the defense cannot cross examine questionable witnesses .

The "secrecy" argument---which was no more than a red herring is now gone.

The confidentiality of a whistle blower has obvious justification. How long do you think it would take for some "always trumper" to make trump proud?

When you say Trump cannot investigate a possible opponent for foreign corruption just because he is a possible opponent, isn’t that in effect giving the guy a free pass, if you buy the thinking? Where else but in the foreign country where the apparent corruption or activity happened are you going to investigate? If you can’t investigate there, you can’t investigate, thus a free pass.

I am going to repeat — The Democrat theory presented is that if a corrupt politician announces for president, he/she is immune from investigation as long as his corruption takes place in a foreign venue.

Have you seen any of the " witness " testimony ?. Have you heard shiff stating he will release ALL transcripts ?. I haven't and I doubt if we ever will.

I also think your " always Trumper " statement is a bit over the top. Which side has been yelling for people to get in their face, draw a crowd and tell then they are not wanted ?. Damn sure not the " Trumpers ".
