We have a 3D printer in the engineering department---it runs almost non-stop---we need to get another one.

The most commonly modeled thing is Al extrusions that fit together in assemblies. The amount of time that is saved is amazing.

I've wanted a 3d printer for ages but couldn't justify it as a toy to play with. But this with laser and cnc.. ooooh

Just starting to play with a 3d printer. Once I figure it out and print some items, I'll let you know how it's going. The samples it printed were great.
