It's really too bad you can't hear it run, Ben. It sounds great!

Never ride a motorcycle you cannot right when it falls over. Anything that fits that description should have at least three wheels.

I don't know if I can get my 1200 back up now or not, shoot I've never had it on it's side I just assume I could have got it back up before this last medical fiasco.
I know I'd love to take that v-8 for a ride! Sweet sounding engine I wonder what it would sound like at a nice even 120 MPH. What's also nice is the weight, 750 lbs give or take.
I love speed on a bike, I believe I'd blow off before I ever hit top speed on that bike. My son's indian is blazing fast, scary fast would be better terminology.
This is your mind on drugs!
My shorthand test is not in anticipation of the bike being trumped over, although that can happen, it is a marker that too much mass is certain to make the bike so cumbersome and unnimble as to be certain to be a hazard. All bikes are dangerous of course, but big tubs of hulking metal are just stooped dangerous to the rider in my view having awaken in the emergency room due to one. The formula is simple for me: the more inertia (mass X speed squared), the more chance of non-avoidance of obstacles.

I have to fess up---mine has been parked in a shed since shortly after a very good friend of mine tee-boned a van with his BMW. He spent months in the hospital---they literally had to piece his skull back together. He looked awful, after many operations his eyes are still not at the same height--which causes double vision. He is also a pilot (builds his own) and he had a terrible time getting his license back.
