Last year I spent the month of Sept in the hospital----thus missing both the US Open (Tennis) and the UN general assembly
This year I did well in avoiding the open, which is held in Flushing Meadows Queens.
This week begins the UN dog and pony show--with endless cavalcades of black Suburbans running hither and yon creating grid lock for everyone else
Being in the hospital wasn't all bad
