    Iran's Turn??

This sounds pretty ominous considering Trump is just looking for an excuse to attack Iran.

"Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!" the president tweeted.

The BBC take on events. Quite balanced analysis.

It’s our duty now to protect the putrid Saudi’s?
Muzzies killing other Muzzies is not a good thing?

I only give a hoot if my fuel prices spike, but the U.S. jumping into these fanatics fighting each other for the soul of Islam will only aggravate those prices.

The Brits have great disdain for Trump and it shows in the article. They probably don't care too much since they don't get their oil for the Saudis anyway.

I don't think they have it all completely sorted out yet. Or at least they are not telling us yet.

Yemen is claiming responsibility. I guess that does not necessarily mean they were responsible.

Well it is beginning to look like Iran had their hands in it. Not good news.

I am not familiar with the tweet(s) to which Tulsi Gabbard is quoted responding, but if what she says he tweeted is correct, I am with Tulsi —

... "I've never engaged in hateful rhetoric against you or your family, and I never will, but your offering our military assets to the dictator of Saudi Arabia to use as he sees fit is a betrayal of my brother and sisters in uniform who are ready to give our lives for our country, not for the Islamist dictator of Saudi Arabia," the Hawaii Democrat said in a video posted to Twitter on Monday. "For you to think that you can pimp out our proud service men and women to the prince of Saudi Arabia is disgraceful, and it once again shows that you are unfit to serve as our commander in chief."

As far as I am concerned, that sentiment goes for exposing any of our troops to fight Israel’s battles as well.

Gabbard either can't read, or is easily riled based on what I get from Trump's tweet that detonated her response. I see nothing in his tweet that should elicit her response.

The (Trump) tweet: "Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!"

Okay, that seems like a good response to me. Trump didn't just go off and order strikes against anyone. He said he would wait to gather more information and see how the Saudis wanted to move forward. Sounds reasonable to me.

Now, if Trump were to place our military under Saudi control, I would feel like Joe says above.

Not our battle, we need to stay out and not get drawn in as planned by the culprits...

Agree. If we hadn't interfered with things over there starting way back to the '70s in my memory, they would have no reason to hate us. They would all be happy living in tents in the desert just killing each other while we went along with life.

We did. But, had we played nice, we probably could have gotten the oil anyway without all the hatred we caused.
