Many folks worship the NYT as the beacon of judgment and journalistic integrity. Well get a grip on this. Today the anniversary of 911 the NYT times dared to tweet the following
“18 years have passed since airplanes took aim and brought down the World Trade Center. Today, families will once again gather and grieve at the site where more than 2000 people died,”
Really airplanes took aim, Really, this is outrageous. The twitterverse blew up on them and they took the tweet down and modified it as follows:
“18 years after nearly 3,000 people were lost, families of those killed in the terror attacks will gather at the 9/11 memorial. There will be a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m., then the names of the dead — one by one — will be recited.”
The gall of this rag to say "airplanes took aim" show just what a POS this paper is. The airplanes were taken over by murderous terrorists who were set to kill, cause destruction, wreck the pentagon and the White House. They intended to strike at the heart of our government. No NYT the airplanes took aim at nothing. Middle Eastern terrorists did.
Remember Rep. Omar statement about 911--"some people did something" yeah well the NYT did about the same thing.
