Kudos to trump
Executive action on student loans: President Trump ordered student loan forgiveness for disabled veterans. He estimated 25,000 people would save an average of $30,000 each.
......but---Why did they incur loans? Their tuition should have been paid by the VA.
As a defense for that policy; in the late 60's the GI Bill (in a much watered down version) was reenacted. One of the most powerful arguments for doing so was that the original GI Bill (post WWII) was the only social program ever enacted which generated more in increased taxes than it cost.
