Well those of you pulling for Mayor Pete

Bad news seems he has suspended his campaign for the Presidency.

What a WIMP , both he and Steyer . If you have been in there fighting and taking money from supporters, why would you quit two days before the biggest night of the election so far ?. I do not believe he had a chance but, to drop out now just proves he does not have what it takes to be in any position of authority.

I agree with I.V. why drop out 2 days before super Tuesday? It simply makes no sense.

He saw the light and decided he would save Gaia from all the dreadful CO2 gushing from his airplane. His choice, as always, is noble.

Now for the scary part that leaves Biden Bloomberg and Sanders as the remaining viable candidates. Oh joy.

One of the things helping Bernie is the number of people splitting up the vote---he can get 30-40% and look good. The other handful split the remainder. The people that might have voted for the drop outs are not all likely to vote for Bernie---they will increase the votes for the remaining players---and take delegates off the table. If they can keep Bernie from getting the required number of delegates prior to the convention it opens it up for a floor fight and it becomes a new day.

What Dave was talking about. If they drop out early it gives people a chance to pick another player. If they hang on until the end they will get votes that are just wasted, doesn't bother them but the people that voted for them might remember that wasted vote and be pissed the next time these guys run for something.

At this point it is anyone’s guess where the break is in the voters of the Democrat Party. It is generally believed that the D Party has two real factions — the far Left contingent expressed in the Sanders/Warren block, and the others erroneously dubbed “the moderates.” Depending on the state race the Sanders/Warren crowd combined has been a majority or near majority some of the time and not others. We are all waiting to see who drops out of the lrace and where their voters will line up. This Tuesday will answer many questions. As far as I pulse judge, Steyr was in the radical left crowd on his driving issues.

Those of my persuasion are wishing for Biden and Sanders to fight it out to a tie and brokered convention where the Biden/Party Bosses screw Bernie as it is perceived by Bernie supporters such that they sit this one out in November, or, better yet, form their own Workers Green Party where they belong, as AOC once said. It could happen.

We are playing with fire here because there is a very real possibility that Bernie Sanders could catch on and snowball support behind a financial downturn ignited by the Covid-19 convulsion coupled and fueled by decades of counter-American indoctrination of the young who might be inflammed enough to vote for once. F that were to occur, we would not recognize this country or our bank accounts in 5 years time.

I would more expect there to be some "future considerations" than a money trail. This would not be the first cabinet job traded.
