Keeping it in prospective
Facts are a beautiful thing---especially when they are meant to convey information and not opinions.
I found this informative (I would have gotten more than a few of these rankings wrong) and of value in forming opinions.
Most notable: Russia. In world ranking of GDP Russia (#12)ranks just below South Korea (#11)---depending on what you compare.
South Korea: GDP= $1,777,650, GDP/capita= $34,700
Russia: GDP= $1,754,290, GDP/capita= $12,026
...and the US, the largest in the world: GDP $21,410,230, GDP/capita=$65,064
