Odd how the Garlic festival shooter and his rampage (along with the usual few in Chicago & NYC) have been overlooked in this most recent delving into motivations of mass shooters. The examination seems to overlook the one common denominator in damned near every such event — testosterone.

In an earlier post I suggested that teen age kids should not be allowed to purchase AR type rifles. A small start but a start. The President announced today that we need to do more thorough background checks again a small change but a start. What changes or suggestions would you care to offer in this regard Dave?

There’s not enough tea in China to get that job done. If you are going to wait for the results of such a search and then a review of the results by some fallible and/or bent human, it would be tantamount to never getting a result or approval. I wonder if some government hack reviewing my posts just on this board would “allow” me to have a gun?
