    Who worries about squirrels

I have been enjoying my bird feeders. Not one squirrel, nada. Things were great...........Until something much worse decided they wanted the seeds, something that eats the entire feeder full on one trip. None other than Mr. Racoon. I guess I will have to pull out the trap or shoot it. Don't really want to kill it. Once they find it it's over.

Raccoons are pretty smart. They learn quickly. Try lacing the seed with Tabasco sauce. After a few bites they will be spinning around in temporary agony. They will learn to avoid the free seed just as fast as they did finding it. The birds will be back soon enough.

I have a small fence charger may just put a wire or two up there and knock his ass off.

Squirrel baffles work on coons, too. They will still eat the scattered food on the ground, but they can't climb the pole.

Yeah I am probably going to have to move my feeders since they are mounted on a fence and it can easily be climbed.

Raccoons have been in my face for all my life, trapped and hauled them off for years, now its against the law so spray vinegar in there face before letting them out.
